BOKACH, John J. age 77 of Hamilton, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 in Bethesda North Hospital. He was born in Wilper, PA on August 13, 1928, the son of Charles and Mary (Rusza) Bokach. Mr. Bokach served in the US Army Air Corp, during WWII in Europe, and was one of the youngest pilots to fly a B-17 Flying Fortress. On December 4, 1994, he married Susan Dufficy Wirsch. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows church in Monroe, OH. During the 1980's, he rebuilt a BT-13 and performed aerobatic maneuvers, at air shows, across the nation. John was owner and operator of J. B. Trucking and Rigging, retiring in 1990.
Survivors include his wife Sue; four children, Barbara (Alex) Chin, of Cincinnati, Tamara (David) Meek of Twinsburg, OH, Connie (Steve) Jackson, of Fairfield, and Mary (Paul) Templin, of Fairfield, TWP; six grandchildren, Bryan Chin, Samantha, Brittney and Nicholas Meek, Elaina and Alyssa Jackson; a brother, Charles Bokach, of Chicago, IL. The family wishes to thank Dr.'s Silvania Ng, and Carl Siegrist and all the nurses and PCA's at Bethesda North Hospital, for their superior and loving care.
