EICHHOLD, John E. age 68 of Hamilton passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 29, 1947, the son of John O. and Elaine (Beck) Eichhold and was a 1965 graduate of Garfield High School. John worked in environmental services for Fort Hamilton Hospital for 38 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of St. Ann Church, and the National Association for Physically Handicapped. He participated for many years in the handicapped bowling league and was an avid bicyclist.

Survivors include his father, John "Jake" Eichhold; three sisters, Mary Lou (Mike) Sanders, Ann Rulon, and Jean (Clyde) Carter; a brother, James (Becki) Eichhold; 19 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine in 2008; two brothers, Thomas Eichhold in 2009 and George Eichhold in 2011.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM Friday in St. Ann Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant.
