John W. King age 74 of Hamilton passed away Saturday February 8, 2025 in Majestic Care of Middletown. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 17, 1950 the son of William M. and Helen M. (King) King.

Survivors include his three children, Jason King, Jenny Chasteen, and Jeff King; wife Barbara Roark; Step children, Robert and Robin Jump; Many grandchildren and great grandchildren;  a sister, Pat (Robert) Menke; two brothers, Robert (Leeann) King and Timothy King.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Thomas and Jerry King; and Clayton Jump.

The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and aids of the Whispering Oaks wing of Majestic Care of Middletown as well as the Hospice of Middletown Nurses.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Wednesday February 12, 2025 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Edwin Beck officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am-12noon Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
