RATLIFF, John C., age 51 of Hamilton, died Saturday, June 17, 2006 in Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise Assisted Living Center. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on March 26, 1955, the son of Charles and Betty (Loper) Ratliff, was a 1974 graduate of Garfield High School, and served in the US Air force. On September 15, 1990, in Hamilton, Ohio he married Patricia Buis. John had most recently worked in Maintenance at Belle Tower. He attended the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church in Trenton, Ohio. An avid NASCAR Fan, he also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Patty; a son, John Patrick Ratliff, of Hamilton; four brothers, Dave (Lona) Ratliff, Dan Ratliff, Gary (Chelle) Ratliff, and Charles Jr. "Chuck" (Desiree) Ratliff; several nieces, nephews; many friends, especially Joe and Dan. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a nephew, David Ratliff.

The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Cincinnati/Hamilton at Sunrise, Doctors Lang, Armentrout, and Krall, and friends and family for their loving care and support.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00PM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Dan Philpot presiding. Friends may call from 5-7:00PM Friday in the funeral home. Church services will be held at 10:30AM Saturday in the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, 509 W. State Street, Trenton, Ohio, followed by burial in Butler County Memorial Park.
