REIRING, John J. age 75 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away Friday March 12, 2021 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 27, 1945 the son of John J. and Ruth (Tragesser) Reiring. On May 8, 1971 in Cincinnati, Ohio he married Kathleen A. Gilardi. John had worked as a police officer for the City of Middletown from 1969-2002 and currently was Sheriff's Deputy for the Butler County Sheriff's Office. He was a proud veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; three children, Nicole (Tim) Arens of Liberty TWP, Ohio, Keith (Jacqueline) Reiring of Hamilton, Ohio and Kevin Reiring of Fairfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Alexander and Jenson Reiring; a sister, Joyce Mangin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd. Fairfield, Ohio 45014, with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am Wednesday in the church narthex. Burial will be in Rosehill Burial Park. Memorials are suggested to BCSO Memorial Peace Officers and La Salle High School
