VOGT, John Michael "Mike" age 79 of Hamilton passed away Friday January 1, 2021 in Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Springfield, Illinois on August 22, 1941 the son of J. Francis and Gertrude (Jones) Vogt. On June 30, 1962 in St. Stephens Church he married Joyce A. Disher and she preceded him in death on December 25, 2007. Mr. Vogt had been owner and operator of Mike's Corner Market ( Heaton and 7 ^th street) and later continued to work as a meat cutter for various stores in the area. Mike loved people and never met a stranger.

Survivors include his daughter, Michele (Timothy) Steven; a brother, Thomas (Peggy) Vogt; two sisters, Mary Margaret (Jim) King and Kathryn Combs.

Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Vogt and a sister Lynn Lewis.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Friday in St. Peter in Chains Church, 382 Liberty Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013. Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St Jude Children's Hospital.
