MARKLEY, Jon Alan age 56 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at his home. He was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1963, the son of James and Donna (Hadley) Markley. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Miami University Oxford, Ohio and a Masters Degree from Xavier University Cincinnati, Ohio. On November 16, 1991 in St. Bartholomew Church, he married Lisa A. Wollering.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa; his mother, Donna (Nick) Gisondi; three children, Nicole, Ian and Jason Markley; a sister, Julie (Tom) Simmons; nephew, Tyler Simmons, niece, Lindsay (Austin) Conley; Father and Mother-in-law, Cliff and Eileen Wollering;

He was preceded in death by his father, James David Markley.

For most of his career, Jon worked as an IT manager at Luxottica, Fidelity, GE, and Champion International. He volunteered extensively for his children's soccer and band organizations. He was a life-long fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals.

The Family will receive friends from 6-7:00pm Friday, July 10, 2020, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. A Memorial service will be at 7:00pm Friday, July 10, 2020, in the funeral home.
