HORVATH, Joseph R. age 67, passed away peacefully, early Saturday morning, February 9, 2008 at his home. Joe was born in Connersville, Indiana the son of Joseph W. and Irene (Huff) Horvath. He lived in Hamilton and Fairfield most of his life and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1958. After High School, he served in the US Navy from 1958-1962. He had worked as an electronic repairman for Armco (AK Steel), retiring to Mason, Ohio in 1999. In 1966, he married Troy Gambrell, of Corbin Kentucky, and she preceded him in death after sharing their lives, for thirty-four years.

He leaves behind his son, Roger Horvath; step daughters, Wanda Gruenschlaeger and Anne Compston; siblings, Gloria Baker, Vicki Rhodus, Rick Lewis, and Cindy Campbell.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Fr. Stephen Mondiek officiating, followed by entombment in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Online register book at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
