PATER, Josephine G., age 79, died Wed., March 21, 2007 in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 13, 1927, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Geier. Mrs. Pater had worked as a bookkeeper at Badin High School and various other businesses, retiring in 1999.

Survivors include four sons Steven (Dottie) Pater, of Fairfield, Richard E. (Treava) Pater, of Loveland, OH, Kenneth (Mardee) Pater of Willow Springs, North Carolina, and Frank C. (Cindy M. Shannon) Pater, of Pierce TWP, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael H. Pater, in 1991; three brothers, William, Henry, and Frank Geier; six sisters, Elizabeth Urmston, Anna Huber, Margie Kincer, Barb Swain, Agnes Geier, and Marie Rice.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30am Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am Saturday in St. Ann Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Friday, and from 9:30-10:30am Saturday, in the funeral home Memorials are suggested to the Badin High School Scholarship Fund.
