Obituary

Juan Lopez Macias passed away suddenly on May 5, 2023 at 59 years of age.

He was the loving husband of Diana Macias, a father, and provider. He was a master craftsman and contractor, working in drywall installation and spearheading his own construction business for over 20 years. With enumerable trials and tribulations, he persisted in supporting his family here and back home in Texas. He is survived by his wife, Diana Macias, stepson, Dustin Farris, and grandson, Aiden Deblois. He is also survived by his siblings, Antonia, Consuela, Beto, Anna, Miguel, Gloria and Leticia Macias. (Also, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that he cared for deeply)

Juan was fervently religious and a member of St. Julie Billiart Parish. His marriage and devotion to Diana only strengthened his relationship with God and the Church. Together they fostered and guarded several children and tried to help so many others find refuge and opportunity within their home. He enjoyed so many hobbies as well, including tinkering/engineering, model trains, woodworking, home and auto repairs, gardening, landscaping, exploring new technology, grilling exceptional dishes, and hosting parties that could last for days.

His surviving family is blessed to have been part of his journey and hopes to honor his memory. He will be sorely missed.

"Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4
