BRANDNER, Juanita J. age 87 of Hamilton died Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Mercy Franciscan Schroder Manor. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 1, 1925, the daughter of Edgar and Lula (Flannery) Bacon, and was a 1943 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and a graduate of the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Dayton. On August 7, 1948, in St. Veronica Church, she married Edward H. Brandner and he preceded her in death on September 20, 1988. Mrs. Brandner was a Registered Nurse for Mercy Hospital in Hamilton, and later for Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Becky (Kevin) Schmidtz of Hamilton, Nancy (Doug) Bock of Hamilton, and Debbie (Dave) Grove of Tavernier, FL; five grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, and Amy Bock, Ryan and Mike Schmidtz; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Abby Schmidtz; a brother, Howard "Hotsie" (Joan) Bacon of Hamilton; two sisters-in-law, Lee and Irma Brandner.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a nephew, Frankie Bacon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am Thursday in the Schroder Manor chapel, 1302 Millville Ave. Hamilton, Ohio 45013, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
