GOINS, Juanita age 88 of Hamilton died Friday, April 05, 2013, at Golden Years Retirement Home. She was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on September 1, 1924, the daughter of George and Helen (Jackson) Osborne. On September 18, 1943, in Manchester, KY she married Sheridan Goins. Mrs. Goins worked as a caregiver for fifty years at Logsdon/Glen Meadows Nursing Home. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church, a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 1069, and a member of senior citizens. She loved cooking, gardening, flowers, quilting, and it was always a celebration at her house during the antique car parade.

Survivors include four children, Harold (Rita) Goins of Fairfield, Morris Goins of Hamilton, Regina (Kenneth) Fields of Fairfield, and Rebecca (James) McClung of Fairfield Township; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann (Herbert) Barnes; many nieces and nephews whom she was known as "Aunt Dude".

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deana Lee Carpenter; an infant grandson, Sean m. Goins; a sister, Ethel; two brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Jr (Korean War MIA).

The family would like to express thanks to Iris Goins, the staff at Golden Years, and Hospice of Cincinnati staff Debbie, Theresa, Kathy, and Bev for their special care.
