Judith Ann “Judy” Burer age 85 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Friday May 22, 2026 at Golden Years Nursing Home. She was born in Hamilton, OH on March 7, 1941 the daughter of William J. and Ruth Ann (Roth) Burer.

Judy worked for the Journal News as a proofreader for ten years before she began work as a bank teller. She worked for multiple banking institutions for over fifty years before retiring. Judy was an avid race car fan who especially enjoyed IndyCar and NASCAR stock cars. She was a member of Queen of Peace Church. Judy also loved the state of Michigan and would often travel to the upper peninsula.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her niece, Kelly J. (Burer) Newton.

Survivors include her brother, William J. Burer Jr; and her many nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00am Monday June 1, 2026 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Catholic Funeral Rite at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Golden Years Nursing Home activities or Hospice of Cincinnati.
