WEKENMAN, Judith R. age 66 of Fairfield, passed into the Lord's hands on Monday, January 16, 2012, in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 22, 1945, the daughter of Robert J. and Cecilia K. (Schadler) Wekenman and was a graduate of Garfield High School. Judy worked for Ohio Casualty Insurance Company for thirty-five years from 1965 to 2000. After retiring she worked part time at Milillo's Pizzeria for seven years and she volunteered her time to Hospice in Hamilton. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Judy enjoyed watching football games and was an avid reader. She always had a picture puzzle going on her kitchen table. We will miss her sweet smile, her generous and giving nature.

Survivors include two uncles, Frank K. Schadler of Marion, Indiana and Fred Simmons of Hamilton; twelve cousins, Linda Austing, Susan Spicer, Tom, Dan, Mickey, Nancy, Cathy, and Diane Foley, Mike Schadler, Karen Pinkston, Cindy Hohman, and Dave Schadler; a special friend and neighbor, Tim Briscoe.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1991 and her mother in 2000.

Prayers will be offered at 3:00 pm Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:30 pm Friday in the Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:00 pm Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contribution may be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
