SCHLENK, Julia A. "Judy" age 77 of Fairfield died Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Tri-County Extended Care Center. She was born in Manchester, Ohio on June 19, 1933, the daughter of Ralph and Minnie Lou (Brittingham) Messer. On September 5, 1953, in Hamilton, Ohio she married Donald "Tony" Schlenk and he preceded her in death on February 1, 1993. Judy was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary # 1069.

Survivors include her seven children, Carol (James) Reynolds, Karen (Sam) Huff, Kay (Pat) Mehlman, Kurt (Deanna) Schlenk, Kristine Cooper, Ken Schlenk, and Kim Tucker; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert Messer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Paul Marcum officiating, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
