ANGST, Julia F. age 83 of Hamilton passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. On July 31, 1934, Julia Frances Evans was gifted to this earth. After graduating from Trenton High School in 1952, she worked for Crystal Tissue Co. in Middletown. On July 16, 1955 she married the love of her life, Robert Charles Angst and they were the parents of 8 children: Mary Ann, Rick (Carolyn), Ron, Karen Stephens (Scott), Jim, Mike (Kendy Altizer), Bobby (Jenny) and Kevin (Jill) and 20 grandchildren. Julia was a longtime member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Trenton where she was well known for her pies. At retirement she and Bob, then members of St. Peter in Chains in Hamilton, took Holy Communion and Meals on Wheels to the elderly who sometimes were younger than the couple serving them. The last survivor of her birth family, Julia is also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann (1957), a grandson, Tristan (1998) and her husband, Bob (2014).

Her life that was defined by giving, family and faith will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton OH 45067. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 11 from 6-8:00 pm in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Avenue in Hamilton.
