It is with deep sorrow that the Giraldi Rodríguez family announces the passing of Julio Antonio Giraldi Rivera, who was born on September 18, 1938, and departed to be with the Lord on July 27, 2026.

Julio Antonio was the son of Antonio María Giraldi and Pura Asunción Rivera. He lived most of his life in the Dominican Republic, where he distinguished himself as a hardworking man of integrity who was deeply committed to his family. Throughout his life, he held various roles, including farm work, accounting, and service in the Marines. In each of these responsibilities, he demonstrated discipline, honesty, and a sense of duty.

Those who knew him will remember him as a serious, honorable man of solid principles. He was always ready to help his family, offering support, counsel, and a good example with generosity and responsibility. His life was a testament of hard work, sacrifice, and love for his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Julio César Giraldi Rodríguez, and his siblings Noel, Pablo, Juan, and Xiomara.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Zaida Rodríguez Giraldi; his children, Manuel Antonio Giraldi Rodríguez, Miguel Ángel Giraldi Rodríguez, Felipe Alberto Giraldi Rodríguez, and Wanda Elizabeth Giraldi Mella; as well as 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor his memory and the legacy of love, uprightness, and dedication he left behind. The family is grateful for the expressions of affection, prayers, and support received during this time of mourning, and asks that the memory of Julio Antonio remain forever alive in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Con profundo pesar, la familia Giraldi Rodríguez anuncia el fallecimiento de Julio Antonio Giraldi Rivera, quien nació el 18 de septiembre de 1938 y partió a la presencia del Señor el 27 de julio de 2026.

Julio Antonio hijo de Antonio María Giraldi y Pura Asunción Rivera. Vivió gran parte de su vida en Republica Dominicana donde se distinguió por ser un hombre trabajador, íntegro y profundamente comprometido con su familia. A lo largo de su vida desempeñó diferentes labores, entre ellas el trabajo en la finca, el ejercicio de la contabilidad y el servicio como miembro de la Marina. En cada una de estas responsabilidades demostró disciplina, honestidad y un firme sentido del deber.

Quienes lo conocieron lo recordarán como un hombre serio, honorable y de sólidos principios. Siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudar a su familia, brindando apoyo, consejo y ejemplo con generosidad y responsabilidad. Su vida fue un testimonio de esfuerzo, sacrificio y amor por los suyos.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, su hijo, Julio César Giraldi Rodríguez, y sus hermanos Noel, Pablo, Juan y Xiomara.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Zaida Rodríguez Giraldi; sus hijos, Manuel Antonio Giraldi Rodriguez, Miguel Ángel Giraldi Rodriguez, Felipe Alberto Giraldi Rodríguez y Wanda Elizabeth Giraldi Mella; además de 17 nietos y 17 bisnietos, quienes continuarán honrando su memoria y el legado de amor, rectitud y dedicación que les dejó.

La familia agradece las muestras de cariño, las oraciones y el apoyo recibidos en estos momentos de duelo, y ruega que el recuerdo de Julio Antonio permanezca siempre vivo en el corazón de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

La visitación se llevará a cabo el viernes 31 de julio, de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m.
