MARCHANT, Kathleen M. (Straub) age 59 of Hamilton died Sunday, September 25, 2011, at home with family. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 21, 1952, the daughter of John E. and Eileen (Schuler) Straub. Kathy was a member of St. Peter in Chains Church and the church's bereavement group.

Survivors include her three children, Jeff (Danielle) Marchant of Wenatchee, WA, Scott Marchant of Hamilton, and Sarah (Laurence) Orr of Santa Barbara, CA; her parents, John and Eileen Straub; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Maxwell Marchant; sister, Mary (Ted) Soloway; Brother-in-law, James Jester; Aunt, Virginia Carter; a cousin, Chris Carter; five nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Jester on July 13, 2009.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30 am Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Thursday at St. Peter in Chains Church with Fr. Ron Haft celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
