LOMBARD, Kenneth R. age 72 of Liberty Township passed away Wednesday January 25, 2023
at his home. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 10, 1950 the son of Russell A. and Evelyn
C. (Boyd) Lombard. On December 14, 1974 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church , in Greenhills,
he married Martha M. Cahall.
Kenneth could be called by many names, Dad, Grandpa, Lombard, Kenny, Ken, Mr. Lombard
and Pepsi Man.
Lombard enjoyed "figuring" things out, he was a person called often to help when needed. Ken
worked for Pepsi for 20 plus years, resulting in a great Pepsi memorabilia collection. He retired
from the City of Fairfield in 2014 as a Building Maintence Employee.
Lionel trains were always a favorite, but when his grandchildren arrived, the Polar Express
railroad took over the living room! He made sure the pool was ready for swimming. He loved
when the kids would help him with a project. As his grandchildren grew up he enjoyed ubering
them to events and taking videos and pictures of all their accomplishments.
Ken and Martha enjoyed traveling to many lands, enjoying cruises and cross country trips. There
were many trips with close friends with stories to tell. As the girls grew up, Kenny enjoyed
loading up the pick up truck & camper for a great road trip! He wanted to explore and see the
United States. He achieved his dream by visiting all 50 states!
Survivors include his wife, Martha; three daughters, Lynn (Steve) Roberts of Delaware, Ohio,
Karen (Ben) Bultman of Fairfield Township, Ohio, and Sherri (James) Green of Liberty
Township, Ohio; nine grandchildren Ainsley, Clara, Brenden, Jayvier, Maren, Yelaina, Kaleb,
Kelen and Sami; and beloved friend more like a brother, Tim Jung of Hamilton, Ohio.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and aunt and uncle.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday January 28, 2023 in the Zettler Funeral Home,
2646 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, Ohio 45015, with Fr. Michael Pucke officiating. Visitation will be
from 10:00-11:00am Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery at a
later date. Memorials are suggested to donate in his name to the Christ Hospital Heart &
