Kevin William Brichler, age 51, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away, due to colon cancer, peacefully Sunday October 1, 2023 at his family's home, surrounded by family and love. He was born on December 26, 1971.

Survivors include Kevin's parents Bill and Pat Brichler, two sisters, Cindy (Brichler) Pater and Kim (Brichler) VanVliet, two brother in-laws, Frank Pater and Jeff Vanvliet and two nephews, Jared VanVliet and Trevor VanVliet.  Kevin is also survived by his partner and love of his life, Jennifer Stitzel and their dog, Zoey.

Kevin grew up in Colerain township, attended Northwest High School, and earned his Political Science degree at Miami University.  Kevin's life was a journey of learning, experiences, love of family and friends.  Kevin excelled in formal education, sports, and relationships.  His quiet demeanor was supported by humor, compassion, and an understanding of other's needs.  Kevin was surrounded by a large network of friends.  Many have expressed Kevin was their best friend.  He was the best son, brother, uncle and partner the family could hope for.  His life touched many people in a sincere, calming, comfortable manner.

In his journey through life, Kevin experienced the joy of companionship and love.  Kevin's spirit of love for family, friends, education, nature and sports will forever be remembered by all that loved him and he will forever be in our hearts.  He will be sorely missed.

May he rest in heaven in eternal peace. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Friday October 13, 2023 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, Ohio 45015 followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to ProMedica Hospice, Cancer Family Care, American Cancer Society or the Animal Friends Humane Society.
