Kip Lee Carroll, 60, of Hamilton, OH, passed away on Friday March 6th, surrounded by family.

He was born in Akron, OH in 1965 to Bobby and Barbara Jean Carroll, and grew up in Stow, OH. Kip served in the United States Navy for 20 years and then moved with his family to Hamilton, OH. Kip enjoyed working with his hands and finding creative solutions to problems. He was known for telling stories about causing mischief, camping with friends and family, and being in the navy. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and enjoyed teaching others about tools. He will be remembered for his quick wit, funny stories, and sarcasm.

Kip was preceded in death by his mother Jean Carroll, and is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary; son Patrick Carroll, daughter Rachel (Isaiah) Bowman, father Bobby Carroll, and sister Ginger Carroll.

The family would like to thank Alberta from Caring Angels and Leah, Donna, and Paul from Hospice of Cincinnati for their kind and loving care of Kip.

Donations to the American Brain Tumor Association in Kip's name would be greatly appreciated.

Friends may call from 9:30-10:30am on Wednesday, March 18th 2026 at the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, OH 45015. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am in the Zettler Funeral Home, followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, 4030 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, OH 45015.
