MASSIE, Laverne R. age 91 of Hamilton died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the Tri-County Extended Care. She was born in Lowell, Indiana on June 24, 1921, the daughter of Charles and Maud (Apgar) Reeves. Her husband Marc Massie preceded her in death on February 10, 1972. Laverne worked as a store manager of W.T. Grant Co. in Downtown Hamilton, Hamilton Plaza, and Northern Kentucky, retiring in the 1980's.

Survivors include a sister, Anna Pauline Massie; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Marc, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Maxine Krueger, Alice Maud Osterman, Hazel Reeves, and Doris Bell; four brothers, Richard, John, Walter, and Harold Reeves.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Nathan Heady officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park.
