PEDDICORD, Leland age 66 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2016, at the Select Medical at Bethesda North Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on August 24, 1950, the son of Estil and Elizabeth (Moore) Peddicord and was a veteran of the United States Army. On October 9, 1970, in Covington, Kentucky he married Phyllis Pannel. Leland was employed through Fairham management and later was a general contractor with Landmark and Gehrlich Homes, retiring in 2009.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; two children, Sheri (Ed Begley) Landrum and Kristian (Vonda Cornett) Peddicord; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five brothers and sisters, Kenny (Mary) Hershner, Connie Hubbard, Kathy (Terry) Marsh, Jan (Allan) Johani, and Jamissa (Curtis) Lawson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends; and also, his dog, Oliver.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Ted Hershner; a brother, Randell on August 7, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00PM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Minister Amie Sizemore officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7:00PM Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses.
