RUPP, Leona Marie Age 94, a resident of Hamilton passed away Friday August 18, 2006 at Vitas Hospice in Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Butler County on March 11, 1912 the daughter of Cleveland C. and Mary (Harmon) Rupp. She attended elementary schools in Butler County and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1929.

She was employed at Haeckl's Express as an Accountant for 13 years and at the H. P. Deuscher Co. for 39 years, retiring in 1981. At the time of her retirement, she was the Assistant Secretary Treasurer.

She was a member of St. Ann Church and the St. Ann Rosary Society.

She was devoted to her family and will be missed by her sister, Mrs. Wilbur W. (Florence) Recher of Hamilton; niece, Helen Ann (Russell) Proffitt of Florence, Ky.; her nephew, Clarence J. Rupp of Dayton; niece-in-law, Patricia Rupp of Fairfield; great nephews, Timothy, Daniel (Karen), and Skeeter Rupp, and Robert C. Walter; and great, great nieces and nephews, LeAnna, Amber, Joshua and Jacob Rupp and Brandon Walter; great great great nephew, Donovan J. Rupp.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clarence J. Rupp; and a Sister, Mrs. William. B. (Helen) Finlay.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30AM Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM Wednesday, in St. Ann Church. Friends may call from 9:30-10:30AM Wednesday in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. If so desired donations may be made to Vitas Hospice/ Ft.
