RENNERS, LeRoy C. "Jim", age 89 of Hamilton, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, in Hospice of Hamilton in Sunrise Assisted Living. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 5, 1916 the son of Henry and Anna (Konrad) Renners and was a 1934 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. On June 17, 1939, in Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue, Kentucky, he married Alberta L. Hartig. Mr. Renners served in the US Navy, during WWII, in the Philippines, aboard a destroyer escort. He retired from Hamilton tool in 1981. A member of St. Ann Church and the Pleasant Athletic Club, he also was a member of the VFW # 1069, and a life member of the Catham Club. He was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and his great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta; three children, Jim (Neva) Renners, of Fairfield TWP, Patricia Renners, and Barbara Huber, both of Hamilton; eight grandchildren, Jim (Baerbel) Peck, Kimberly (Guy) Campbell, Amy (Tony) Humbert, Tricia (Todd) Simmons, Matt (Katie) Renners, Sheryl (Robbie) Lotton, Cindy (Adam) Harris, and Jeff (Angie) Huber; twenty great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Grace Paullus, of Fairfield, and Anna Mae Vaughn, of Hamilton; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin and George Renners; two sisters, Katherine Issenmann, and Loretta Anderson.
Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM Saturday in St. Ann Church. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00PM Friday in the funeral home.
