POWELL, Linda, age 60, of Hamilton, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born in Traverse City, Michigan on Aug. 1, 1946, the daughter of Ernest and Lillian (O'Brien) Purkiss. On April 15, 1991, she married Kenneth Powell.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth; two daughters, Joni Rufli, and Jennifer Rufli; a son, Jerry Rufli; two grandchildren, Ryan Rufli, and Claire Simpson; two sisters, Judith M. Hitt, and Brenda Decker; a brother, Dwayne Purkiss; a step daughter, Dominique Powell.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-12noon at the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by funeral services at 12noon Wednesday, with Rev Jerry Rufly officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
