Obituary

HOLLAND, Lloyd A., age 63, of Fairfield TWP, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006. He was born in Hamilton, OH on September 6, 1942, the son of Carl and Janice (Marshall) Holland, attended New Miami schools and graduated from Seven Mile High School in 1960. Mr. Holland served in the US Air force from 1960-1963. On January 15, 1963, in the Holy Name Church, Trenton, OH, he married Barbara Roof. He was employed by Ford Motor Company at the Sharonville Plant, for thirty-five years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Ben Franklin Masonic Lodge, the UAW # 863, the Paul Vail VFW Post of Sharonville, the Moose lodge of Loveland and the Kentucky Colonels. In younger years, he played fast pitch softball in the Hamilton Merchants League.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; three children, Cheryl Holland (Terry Lawson), Lisa Hurst (Terry Cole), and Jennifer (Stephen) Krause, all of Hamilton; four beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, David, and Hanna Mae; a brother, Gregory Holland, of Ft. Meyer, FL.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Rev. Billy Clay of the Full Gospel Mission officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
