Burton, Mabel age 94 of Hamilton passed away peacefully August 3, 2017. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky then moved to Hamilton in 1940, with members of her family. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing and watching her children play sports. She was always home ready to listen and always on your side.

Survivors include her daughter Mae (Eddie) Roberts; Sons, Dr. Robert (Kathy) Ward, Joe (Becky) Ward and Mike (Laurie) Burton. Grandsons, Jeff (Gina) Roberts, Stephen Ward and Brian (Beth) Burton. Granddaughters, Natalie Ward and Chrissy Ward. Numerous great grandchildren and one sister, Lottie (Junior) Irvin.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John Ward and Ben Burton; a son, Thomas Ward; a Grandson, Joey Ward; two stepsons; three brothers and three sisters.

The family would like to thank the staff at Butler County Care Facility for their loving care.
