ZETTLER, Madonna "Donna ", age 61 of Hamilton, died Sunday June 7, 2009 at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder Manor. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 15, 1947 the daughter of Albert F. and Mary Clara (Seither) Zettler. Donna's faith was instilled in her by her parents and she regularly attended Mass at St. Peter and St. Joseph Church. Donna was a fun loving and kind person, always smiling and expressing a kind "Hello" to all she met. She attended programs offered by MRDD in early childhood through adult life and was member of Job Club. When health permitted she enjoyed bowling and her favorite passion was BINGO on Friday nights at St. Peter Church. One of her life's greatest accomplishments was her employment as a lobby attendant at McDonald, for seventeen years, retiring due to poor health. The family wishes to thank all at McDonalds for their patience and kindness toward Donna. She enjoyed traveling such as trips to Disney World, vacations to Florida, and especially trips to Arizona visiting her brother, with side trips to Las Vegas. Donna resided with her sister and brother-in-law Gloria and Ron until 2007. She was also assisted with her care by her sister, Marilyn. She was very proud of her "new home" at Schroder Manor where she captured the hearts of the staff and many residents and she enjoyed all the activities they offered. She was easy to please and was loved by all her family for her child-like manner and innocence. Her smiling face will be missed.
