FABELO, Manuela E. age 79 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Havana, Cuba on June 22, 1939, the daughter of Ramona (Barrios) Martinez and Medardo Martinez. On July 17, 1960, she married Hiliario Fabelo and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2018. Mrs. Fabelo was a high school graduate and went on to receive a degree in cosmetology  from the Cosmetology Academy In Miami and went on to be one of the Cosmetologist for the 1979 miss Universe Competition.  Manuela also was a Spanish teacher at the Front Street Presbyterian Church. A past member of St. Peter in Chains Church, she currently was a member of St. Julie Billiart Parish.

Survivors include a son, John (Barbara) Fabelo; three grandchildren, Brittny (Kyle) Klein, Daniel and Corrie Fabelo; one great-grandchild, Olivia Grace Klein.

A funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00am Tuesday in St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Ave, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Inurnment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
