GARDNER, Margie C., age 77 of Hamilton, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 7, 1933 the daughter of Jacob and Pearl (Cain) Gardner and was a 1951 graduate of Notre Dame High School. Margie had worked as a cook at Fritsch's Restaurant on Main Street for twenty-six years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Survivors include her brother, Marvin P. Gardner, of Fairfield, Ohio; eight nieces and nephews, Julie, Edward, Dan, Paul, Michael, Karen, Marvin Jr., and Angela.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Armentrout, and Dolores South.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Krall, the nursing staff and nurses' aids at Hospice of Hamilton for the excellent care they provided to Margie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00am Friday in St. Ann Church 3026 Pleasant Ave. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:00am Friday in church. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to St. Ann Church or Hospice of Hamilton.
