TURNER, (ELAM), Margie age 88 , a longtime Lindenwald resident, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at the Huntington Court Nursing Home. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on February 3, 1924 the daughter of Newt and Sara (Turner) Mooney. In 1953 she married Homer Turner and he preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Charles Elam in 1982 and he preceded her in death in 1998. Margie had worked in food service for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and later for Hamilton Eaton Manor.

Survivors include four children, John (Karen) Turner of Hamilton, Sarah Fucci of Lexington, South Carolina, Lorraine (Sterlin) Martin of Concord, North Carolina, and Randy Turner of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Bryan Turner, Margie Richardson, John and Lyndsey Turner, Alana Fucci, and Anthony Stewart; two great grandchildren, Taylor and Angela Richardson.

Besides her husbands, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Griffin in 2008.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Chaplain Tony Harris officiating, followed by burial in Butler County Memorial Park.
