BEER, Marguerite age 96 of Hamilton, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 21, 1912 the daughter of John and Clara (Wellinghoff) Schneider. On August 17, 1933 in St. Stephen Church she married Robert P. Beer and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1997. Mrs. Beer was a member of St. Peter in Chains Church. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as traveling, camping and hiking in national parks throughout the United States.

Survivors include five children, Marjorie Davidson of Hamilton, Mary Kay and husband James Wiegand of Hamilton, Robert W. and wife Susan Beer of Murrysville, PA, William J. and wife Ann Beer, of Liberty TWP, Ohio, and Michael J. Beer of Hamilton; sixteen grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, James R. Beer in 1952; two brothers, Fr. John Schneider O.F.M., and Fr. Paul Schneider O.F.M.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Monday in St. Peter in Chains Church with Fr. Timothy Bunch celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Sunday in the funeral home.
