SCHINDLER, Marie I. age 62 of Hamilton passed away on Friday July 28, 2017 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 1, 1954 the daughter of William and Edna (Muncey) Yannello. Marie earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from Miami University Oxford, Ohio. On August 27, 1977 in St. Mary Church Hamilton, she married Larry Schindler. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Monroe, Ohio. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Marie derived much pleasure watching her children play sports and time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; two children, Michelle (Mike) Currin of Monroe, Ohio and Eric Schindler of Pleasant Hill, Ohio; two grandchildren, Cecilia and Grant Currin; two sisters, Margaret Conboy and Carolyn Lemon. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Kathleen Alter for the devoted care she provided to Marie.

Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Louise Bell.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Wednesday in Our Lady of Sorrows Church 330 Lebanon St. Monroe, Ohio, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation at arthritis.org or the Badin High School Ronnie Schindler Memorial Scholarship fund.
