Woods, Marilyn Joyce of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Tuesday afternoon January 16, 2024 at home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 30,1960 the daughter of William R Coffey and Betty J (Keeling) Sumey.
Survivors include two sisters, Carolyn (Art) Schutte, Janette (Ric) Mesina; a brother, Robert (Deb) Coffey; sister-in-law, Kathy Coffey and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother William  Coffey.
Marilyn's bright eyes, beautiful smile and lovable spirit drew people to her. She treasured time spent with family and friends.
Marilyn had an affinity for nature, she loved to travel, she was an excellent cook and an exquisite hostess. She enjoyed all music, especially rock and blues, she loved animals, her pets had the best of everything! She will be sorely missed by many.
Marilyn had a long career leading payroll accounting departments for several companies. She started at Fernald and worked there for 26 years. The last company that she worked for was Sogeti/ Capgemini. She was loved and admired by her colleagues and valued by her bosses.
Marilyn fought cancer for four years with strength and grace.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday January 22, 2024 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 10:00am-12noon Monday January 22, 2024 in the funeral home.
