CONNELLY, Marion L. (Cook) age 86 formerly of Hamilton and for many years residing in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, died Sunday, February 1, 2009 in the Chatsworth Nursing Home, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 31, 1922 the daughter of Edward and Florence (Faderle) Cook Jr. and was a 1941 graduate of Hamilton High School. On September 14, 1968, in Hamilton, Ohio she married Reuben "Straub" Connelly.

Marion traveled extensively throughout America and overseas. She enjoyed painting and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Straub; two sons, Louis (Paula) Dabbelt of Mason, Ohio, and Rex (Cyndy) Dabbelt of St. Peters, Missouri; a step daughter, Claudia (Richard) Waterborn of Granada, Spain; one grand child, Jacob Dabbelt of Mason Ohio; a brother, Glen Cook of Arcadia, Florida; two sisters, Lutie Davis, of Hamilton, and Florence Coggeshall, of Huntsville, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Neil Cook and Mark (Mike) Cook; and a step daughter Sharon Connelly.
