TANN, Marjorie A. age 89 of Hamilton died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born on July 22, 1920, the daughter of Paul F. and Theresa (Wise) Ruhl. On October 25, 1941, in St. Peter in Chains Church she married Ralph J. Tann, and he preceded her in death on November 22, 1971. Marjorie was a member of St. Ann Church, the Altar Rosary Society, a lifelong bridge player, seamstress, and volunteered at Mercy Hospital and St. Ann Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Terry Hudson, Barbara Roof, Mary (John) Holbrock, and Marsha (Steve) Sackenheim; eleven grandchildren, Chris (Florence) Roof, Brian Hudson, Laura (Lee) Whitaker, Karen Hudson, Amy Sackenheim, Jeffery (Stacey) Sackenheim, Adam (Sarah) Sackenheim, Gregory (Debbie) Holbrock, Sheila (Dan) Gunderman, Michael (Meagan) Sackenheim, and Emily Holbrock; nine great-grandchildren, Grant, Caroline, Meredith, A.J., Matthew, Christopher, Emmett, Jackson, and Jacob; a sister, Marcia Bachmann; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Ralph, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lagedrost and Marie Ebbing; a brother, Paul Ruhl Jr..

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am Monday in St. Ann Church with Father Stephen Mondiek celebrant. Friends may call from 10-11:00 am Monday at the Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
