KOLLSTEDT, Mark W., age 54, of Fairfield, died Monday, December 25, 2006, in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton, OH, on September 25, 1952, the son of Louis and Dorothy (Gorman) Kollstedt. He was a 1970 graduate of Badin High School, and the Nashville Auto Diesel College, graduating in 1972. Mark had worked as a diesel mechanic as well as being a self employed farmer, operating the Kollstedt's Produce Stand. He was a member of the Fairfield Optimist Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Sara Seratt, of Nashville, TN; Two sisters, Edna Mae (James) Rickling, of San Diego, CA, Louise (Jerry) Burns, of Fairfield; three brothers, Marion (Mary Beth) Kollstedt, of Trenton, Maurice (Rosanita) Kollstedt, of Hamilton, and Jude Kollstedt, of Mainville, OH.
Besides his parents; he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Wheeler, and Patricia Hinkel; two brothers, Leo and Merle Kollstedt.
Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM Thursday in Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield. Visitation will be from 6-8PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
