Obituary

CAMPBELL, Marvin D., age 76, of Hamilton, died Saturday, October 1, 2005 in Hospice of Hamilton/Sunrise Assisted Living. He was born in Butler County, Ohio on September 18, 1929 the son of Elmer and Colista (Jackson) Campbell. On September 13, 1952, in St. Ann Church, he married Rita Flaig. He served in the US Airforce. Mr. Campbell was a welder for Wente Electric, a warehouse manager for Wente Construction, totaling forty-eight years service. He later worked as a security officer at Ft. Hamilton Hospital and Forest Fair Mall. For twenty years, he had worked as a special deputy for the Butler Co Sheriffs office. He was a member of the K of C Father Butler Council.

Survivors include his wife, Rita; stepmother, Ruth Campbell; four children, Craig (Linda) Campbell, of Fairfield TWP, Kim (Patty) Campbell, of Hamilton, Lisa (Dave) Crouch, of Oxford, OH, and Lynn (Don) Stephens, of Hamilton; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Kenny Campbell, of West Chester, OH.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Pete Scheidler, Dr. Paula and her wonderful staff, the girls in the Gebhart Center, and Hospice of Hamilton for their dedicated and loving care.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00PM Monday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed Hospice of Hamilton.
