CEPLUCH, Mary R. age 92 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. The daughter of William C. Burer and Lucy (Beiser) Burer, she was born in Stockton, Ohio on October 6, 1918. She was educated at St. Gabriel School in Glendale, Ohio, and graduated in 1937. In 1939 she married Henry F. Cepluch who preceded her in death on August 29, 1986. She was a member of St. Ann Church and the Altar Rosary Society. After Henry's death she worked at Burger King for 10 years and did volunteer work at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts and Mercy Hospital. She was an avid bowler for 15 years and worked at the election polls for 25 years.

Survivors include her children Henry Cepluch (close friend Pat Ganz), Mary Lou Nichols, Robert (Patti) Cepluch, Donald (Betty) Cepluch, Dick (Joyce) Cepluch, and Steven Cepluch; 10 grandchildren, Bryan (Heather) Cepluch, Melisse` (Jeff) Herkins, Christopher (Connie) Cepluch, Scott (Rebecca) Cepluch, Joseph (Michelle) Cepluch, Michael (Amanda) Cepluch, William Nichols, Mary K. (Skip) James, Lisa (Sean) Rutherford, Amy (Scott) Combs; 19 great grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Henry, she was preceded in death by her mother, father, two sisters, Elizabeth Lewis and Catherine Burer; three brothers William, Raymond, and Charles Burer; a stillborn daughter; a granddaughter, Tamra Cepluch.

Prayers will be offered at 11:30 am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon Friday in St. Ann Church with Fr. Stephen Mondiek celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home.
