GATTERMEYER, Mary Louise age 79 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 13, 1937, the daughter of Henry A. and Marie W. (Brache) Hoelle and was a 1955 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On April 21, 1957, she married Eugene W. Gattermeyer. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Church.

Mary was devoted wife, mother and grandmother and greatly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Gene; six children, James (Rita), Daniel (Pam), Andrew (Donna), Beth (Gary) Otto, Becky (James) Bishop, and Carolyn Maurits; Sixteen grandchildren, Joseph, Rachel, Tyler, Todd, John, Morgan, Nick, Drew, and Kara Gattermeyer, Amy Salcedo, Matthew Otto, Robert and Brian Huff, Corinne and Amanda Maurits; six great-grandchildren, Abigail and Gabriel Huff, Bella Salcedo, Elawyn Huff, Emily Salcedo and Gabriel Otto; a sister, Juanita Fahrner; three sisters-in-law, Janet Phillips, Virginia Brozowski and Mary Gattermeyer; a brother-in-law, Russell Gattermeyer.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Nicole and Joseph Gattermeyer; three sisters, Sandra Trunck; Eva Selhorst and Patricia Natali; three brothers, Walter, Raymond and Ronald Hoelle.

Prayers will be offered at 11:00AM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM Friday in St. Joseph Church with Fr. James Elsbernd celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00AM Friday in the funeral home.
