MEYER, Mary Rose age 95 of Fairfield died Monday, November 7, 2011, at Veranda Gardens. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 17, 1916, the daughter of John J. and Marguerite (Schmitt) Meyer, and was a 1934 graduate of Notre Dame High Academy. Ms. Meyer was a longtime employee for Cincinnati Bell Telephone working as a chief operator and payroll clerk. After retirement, she was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital of Hamilton gift shop. Mary Rose was a lifelong member of St. Ann Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include her brother, Julian "Dick" (Jo-Ann) Meyer of Fairfield; a sister-in-law, Hilda Meyer; three nieces, Janet Dugdale, Nancy Hulshult, and Cindy Neiderhelman; three nephews, Thomas J., Rev. Dan, and John K. Meyer.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, James Meyer and a niece, Patricia Greenweller.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am Wednesday in St. Ann Church with Fr. Dan Meyer celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
