NICHOLS, Mary Lou age 77 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Wednesday October 27,
2021 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 2, 1944
the daughter of Henry and Mary (Burer) Cepluch. Mary Lou retired from Kmart after 38
years of service. During her career she often traveled for the company opening up new
Kmart locations. She also retired from Express Scripts after 14 years of service. She was
a member of St. Ann Church.
Survivors include four children, Mary Kaye (Harold) James, William Nichols, Lisa
(Robert) Rutherford, and Amy (Scott) Combs; nine grandchildren, Brandi Rutherford,
Robert C Rutherford, Dallas J Rutherford, Sean Cole Rutherford, Ariel VanHook, Noah
James, Jaime Combs, Julia Combs and Amberly Combs; six great grandchildren, Bailee
Rutherford, Dallas B Rutherford, Andrew Parker, Avery Anderson, Addison Rutherford
and Olivia Rutherford; five brothers, Henry Cepluch, Robert (Patti) Cepluch, Don (Betty)
Cepluch, Richard (Joyce) Cepluch, and Steve Cepluch.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday November 2, 2021 in the Zettler Funeral
Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by burial in St. Stephen Cemetery, with Fr. Larry
Tharp officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
