PETERS, Mary E., age 89 of Fairfield, died early Thursday morning, June 14, 2007, in Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 20, 1918, the daughter of Clarence and Eleanor (Fellman) Herman. On June 12, 1936, in Covington, Kentucky, she married Edward J. Peters, and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2000. Mrs. Peters was a charter member of Sacred Heart Church and was a member of the Main Affair knitting group.

Survivors include three children, Dolores and husband Robert Blossom, Marilyn and husband Richard Bennett and Edward J. Peters Jr., all of Fairfield, Ohio; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Brummer of Treasure Island, FL, and Ann Snyder, of Crystal River, FL.

Besides her husband, she also was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Frank Snyder and Adrian Brummer.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Monday in Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30am Monday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Church.
