RUPP, Mary E. age 87, of Fairfield died Thurday, July 23, 2009 at Heartland of Woodridge. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 16, 1922, the daughter of John and Maria (Maus) Mick, and was a 1939 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On December 29, 1942, in St. Joseph Church, she married Clarence J. Rupp, and he preceded her in death on February 8, 1996. Mrs. Rupp was a member of Sacred Heart church. She worked in the accounting department at Dyna-Con Packaging, retiring in 1986.

Survivors include a son, Clarence J. "Butch" Rupp of Fairfield, Ohio; a daughter, Helen (Russell) Proffitt, of Crittenden, Kentucky; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Rupp; four grandsons, Robert (Cristina) Walter, Timothy Rupp, Daniel (Karen) Rupp, and Skeeter Rupp; five great grandchildren, Joshua, Leanna, Amber, and Jacob Rupp, and Brandon Walter; one great great grandson, Donovan Rupp; a sister-in-law, Florence Recher; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband; she was also preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Fr. Larry Tharp officiating, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
