OSMAN, Matthew J,  age 47 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday December 13, 2022. He was born in Piqua, Ohio on December 17, 1974, the son of Danny Joe Osman and Marcia (Murphy) Hartzell.

Matt was a long time server and waiter in the restaurant business in Florida and Ohio, most recently at Berd's Grill and Bar in Fairfield.  He was an avid reader (2 books a week!), and white water rafter.  He enjoyed travelling, and recently spent 5 weeks in Spain.  He also was a RABID Ohio State Football fan…it was hard to be around him if they were losing!

Survivors include two daughters, Alexis and Chloe Osman and their mother Kim Bambenek; mother, Marcia Hartzell (Jerry Fink), father Danny Joe Osman; brothers Chris Osman (Cynthia), Brian Osman (Dana), and Nick Osman (Libby). He is also survived by nieces and nephews Emily, Kameron, Marissa, Hannah, Andrew, Wyatt, and Landen, and great-nephews Charles, Luke, Noah, Elliott and Archie. He is also loved by so many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family in Ohio, Florida and around the country.

Friends may call from 4:00-5:00pm Tuesday December 20, 2022 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a memorial service at 5:00pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
