Michael F. Snyder of Fairfield, OH, passed away November 3, 2026, at age 76. He was born February 18, 1950, to Paul A. and Della Mae (Blanton) Snyder. On June 21, 1974, he married Vickie M. Hair at Lindenwald United Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on October 3, 2019.

He served in the United States Army for three years as a radar technician, reaching the rank of sergeant. After leaving the Army, he worked as a nursing assistant and then as an industrial electrician, before having a successful career in information technology. He loved traveling, especially to Europe, as well as reading fiction and history, watching movies, and spending time with his dog Abby.

Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Vidourek.

He is survived by his brother, Mel (Rosemary) Snyder; and his sons, Joseph, Matthew, and Adam Snyder.

A visitation will be held Monday, November 9, 2026, from 9:00-10:00am in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am also on November 9, 2026, at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
