Michael Thomas Poole, age 61 of West Chester, Ohio passed away Friday August 8, 2025 at  the University of Cincinnati Hospital, Main Campus. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 13, 1964 (sharing a birthday with his mom) to Richard Lee and Elizabeth C. (Heuermann) Poole. Michael honorably served in the US Navy for ten years, specializing as a Submarine Nuclear Engineer. During and after Naval service he founded multiple companies, his latest being Space Fabrication, marking his entrepreneur mentality and propensity for seeing opportunities. He loved those he cared about with fierce loyalty, never shying away from owning problems that weren't his simply because he felt it was the right thing to do. As a son, he spent countless hours assisting his elderly parents when that time came. As a brother, he was good hearted with a contagious sense of humor. As a father, he was stern when needed, protective, a mentor and a friend. He was an extraordinary man who touched the lives of so many, helping who he could along the way, and will be missed dearly by all.

He's survived by his beloved mother, Elizabeth Poole; his children, Chris (Kelly) Poole, Ricky (Cassie) Wainscott and Charity Gullett. Mike is also survived by his siblings, Steve (Laura) Poole, Jenny (David) Graham, Margie Beyrer and Suzi (Ryan) Flanigan. Also leaving behind his fiancé, Beverly Thompson; Shannon; grandchildren Austin, Skyler, Luke, Malokai, Casey, Cody and Caden, Selena, Randy and Nyah together with many nieces and nephews.

Mike was proceeded in death by his beloved father Richard, brother-in-law Kevin Beyrer, and several grandparents, aunts, uncles and others who loved him.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
