RIEGERT, Michael J. age 85 of Hamilton died Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 20, 1927, the son of Michael A. and RoseMary (Vogt) Riegert, and was a 1945 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. Mr. Riegert was a veteran of the United States Navy. On July 2, 1949, in St. Ann Church he married Mary D. "Lori" Conrad. Michael was an operator of Riegert's Furniture and TV. He was a charter member of Sacred Heart Church, a member of the V.F.W. post # 1069, and the Knights of Columbus Father Butler Council.

Survivors include his wife, Lori; four children, Karen A. Riegert of Hamilton, Julie (Kyle) Murden of Fairfield, Michele (Rick) Costello of Hamilton, and Barbara (Todd) Langdon of Indiana; seven grandchildren, Alan Haida, Cory and Connor Murden, Joshua and Ryan Costello, Emily and Hannah Langdon; four sisters, Helen (Gene) Beer, Rose Mary Schindler, Elizabeth (Lew) Kunzler, and Joan Leugers; a brother, William (Grace) Riegert; three sister-in-laws, Barb, Maggie, and Dee Riegert.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, David, and Edward Riegert; a sister, Ruth Mignery.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Monday in Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Larry Tharp Celebrant.
