TERRY, Mitchell Jr. age 68 of Hamilton died Monday, November 2, 2009, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Heidelberg, Kentucky on May 28, 1941, the son of Mitchell and Vicie (Johnson) Terry. On March 15, 1965, in Richmond, Kentucky he married Ella R. Brinegar. Mitchell worked as a welder and painter for Mosler Safe Co. and was later the owner and operator of Mitch's Auto Sales from 1984-1992. He was a Kentucky Colonel, as well as a classic car enthusiast, he enjoyed restoring cars to their original beauty.
Survivors include his wife, Ella; two daughters, Anita Ruth (Carl) Fox Jr. of Booneville, KY; Tonya (Ted) Dutze of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Aneisa Marie and Nicki Fox; two brothers, Gene (Sue) Terry, Eddie D. (Nadene) McCollum; four sisters, Ruth (Lawrence) Rowland, Ramona (Doc) Jones, Brenda Bowling, and Margaret White.
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wayne Terry; a brother, Virgil Terry; three sisters, Lois Fisher, Joyce Lainhart, and Flora Harrison.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park.
